The Return of La Dolce Vita!!
Many Grapefather fans fondly remember our SOLD OUT 2011 La Dolce Vita, a 2011 vintage tawny port style wine. It delivered sumptuous fruity-floral and candied almond flavors.
The new vintage, in a bottle different than the one pictured here, has the same delicious tawny port flavors derived from aged estate Viognier.
The label features a look-alike movie poster from the 1960 release of the famous Federico Fellini film “La Dolce Vita.” Instead of featuring the likenesses of Anita Ekberg and Marcello Mastroianni on the poster, the faces have been changed to those of Danica and Nello Olivo. (In case you’re not “in-the-know,” Danica D’Hondt Olivo enjoyed a successful early career in film and television.)
