Two things about Sangiovese:
One, this quintessentially Italian wine exhibits fearless supernatural powers against almost any savory dish you dare to pair it with. Two, its name comes from the Latin sanguis Jovis—or Blood of Jupiter, so it's fitting to drink some on such a ghastly ghostly evening!
Dessert? For the unsqueamish, our very own Sam Cole's Killer Kahlua Cupcakes which may do you in.
